Top 3 travel hit list for 2015
At this time of year there are an endless number of articles on the best of travel for the new year - "TOP TRAVEL HOTSPOTS" and "MUST BE SEEN HERE" holiday journaling locations that have you daydreaming your way through vivid pictures, reading snippets of far-flung destinations that may one day be stamped into your passport (a key consideration when picking any new holiday!)
With this in mind, and given my interest in travelling as much as possible this year, I'd like to share a few of my current top 3 travel lusts to get you all planning to make 2015 the best year of travel for you and your loved ones.

As a neighbouring island to the Cayman Islands, Cuba is only a short 65 mins direct flight with our national carrier, Cayman Airways, and yet I've still never been!
But this set to change for many in 2015, and not just me!
Since 2011, Americans have only been allowed to go to Cuba on people-to-people tours run by licensed companies. However, Obama has embarked on 'normalising' its relations with the island last month. The Economist explains how Obama asked the US Treasury to expand the categories of people who can travel to Cuba without a license. "Visiting Cuba just for tourism may still be forbidden but the new regulations will certainly open up the island to many more people" - USA Today
Vintage cars outside of art-filled bars full of cigar smoke and lined with mojitos - it may be a cliché but it sounds magical all the same. Check out the Lonely Planet's top things to do in Cuba!

From Olivia Palermo's bedroom to Gray Malin's aerial shots to classic Sex and the City scenes, NYC seems to have it all.
I have always wanted to go to New York, and especially in the snowy winter, so I was super excited about my possible work trip to attend the Schulte Roth Investment Funds conference in New York this month but sadly this has fallen through. It looks like we'll just have to holiday to NYC on our own - life is tough, eh!
It can be expensive to travel and tour a new city so here are some links to deals, discounts and free things to do! You can thank me later...
